The rains the Valley received toward the end of November definitely helped ease the local drought situation as most the region is currently in the clear.
However, the rain did little to help Falcon and Amistad Reservoirs as their combined level continues to hover at just over 30 percent of capacity. Falcon, in particular, is at a perilously low 14.1 percent full.
Keep in mind that if the combined level of our reservoirs falls below 25 percent, per City
ordinance, Stage 2 Mandatory Water Conservation restrictions will once again be initiated as they were this past summer.
