Maintain your property clean and mow your lawns regularly.
Drain all standing water from containers such as bird baths, flowers, pots and gutters.
Get rid of old tires.
Store wheelbarrows, canoes, etc. upside down.
Remove used containers from your property.
Repair leaky faucets.
Use insect repellent with DEET when you go outside.
Keep screens on doors and windows.
